Beginning Knitting II Workshop:  4 classes: $80
Take it to the next level!  Beginning Knitting graduates will be able to learn the Argentine Hooded Scarf, Mittens or
Holiday Stockings and add several more skills to their repertoire including reading their work, following a lace
pattern, picking up stitches, 3 needle bind off and more.  Beginning or intermediate students can also use the
class as a workshop to continue learning and get help on any knitting and crochet projects.

  • HOLIDAY STOCKINGS:  4 workshop classes: $80
Learn tons of skills while you create family heirlooms: picking up stitches, magic loop, increasing and decreasing,
color-jog technique, i-cord, duplicate stitch and more! Come in to see our samples – they are too cute and fun to
make!

  • Armenian Knitting:  2 workshop classes: $50
This elegant color knitting technique produces a hybrid between Fair Isle and Intarsia with a speckled effect with
main and contrast colors. Students will learn how to “trap” their yarn: Continental knitters using both colors on 1
finger and English knitters using 1 color in each hand. Come in to see the shop model!

  • Color Knitting:  4 workshop classes: $80
Learn the exciting possibilities of knitting with multiple colors!  We will cover all the basic techniques of striping,
Intarsia, Fair Isle and modular knitting.

  • Introduction to Entrelac:  2 workshop classes: $50
Entrelac (French for latticework) is the exquisite technique used to create a textured diamond pattern. While the end
result resembles basket-woven strips of knitted fabric, the actual material comprises interconnected squares on
two different orientations.  Come see the shop model!  Project choices are scarf or wrap.

  • Magic Loop Socks Class:  3 workshop classes: $75
The next step for Beginning Knitters!  A great skill building class that is a lot of fun!  AND you’ll never use double
pointed needles again!  Learn the latest innovation of making socks without double pointed needles!  We will take
the mystery out of the Magic Loop and teach you all you need to know to make socks.  A great class for all levels of
knitters and for those of you who want to take Seamless Sweater!  You will learn a lot!  

  • 2 Magic Loop Socks At The Same Time:  3 workshop classes: $75
For students who have completed Magic Loop Socks.  The name says it all!  Make socks ridiculously faster! Apply it
to fingerless gloves and more!

  • Cables N Lace:  4 workshop classes: $80
Intimidated by lace work? Don’t be! We’ll show you the basics of lace patterning while you make a gorgeous throw.  
Even the most intricate patterns are based on these simple and beautiful techniques.  You’ll be ready for anything
afterwards.

  • Pattern Play or Pattern Play II Blankets:  4 workshop classes: $80
A discovery workshop for knitting a sampler blanket as you learn how to manipulate your stitches into richly textured
cables, twists, eyelets, astrakhan, and trellis patterns.  Come in to see the samples!  Pattern Play can be done on
DK weight yarn to make a baby blanket version as well!

  • Beginning Crochet:  4 workshop classes: $80
Learn the basics of crochet and start a fun project! This class is a terrific intro to the stitches and concepts that will
acquaint you with crochet.   Choose from a pot holder or granny square blanket to start!

Seamless Sweater:  4 classes: $80
Our most popular class ever… knitted in one piece from the top down. Students will make their first sweater using
bulky yarn but can go on to make these great sweaters in any size, with any gauge yarn. You'll be amazed at how
easy and fast it is. It provides endless variety and timeless style in pullovers and cardigans. There is, what some
knitters consider, a heavy amount of homework each week. Skill level is intermediate.  Students must be adept at
knitting and purling and have basic knitting skills. If students are unable to keep up with class, private lessons are
available.  Please discuss required skills and supplies with us before signing up. Materials must be purchased in
advance as there is homework required before the first class! Magic Loop Socks is an excellent entre to this class.

Fixing Errors Private Lesson:  1 hour private lesson: $50
We’ll make ‘em till you break ‘em!  In this one hour private lesson you’ll learn to understand the construction of
knitting, repair common errors, drop down rows instead of ripping out and generally gain confidence with you
knitting!  Please call the shop to schedule your individual lesson with Amanda!

result of the beautiful things we can
make, most of our classes are
project-oriented.  We take you through
each step of creation while teaching you
new skills and techniques.

We also believe learning should be fun
so expect to laugh and make new
friends!
